I've been missing you crazy, how do you sleep

Okay, with request by shahir, today's topic, will be related to the well known and everybody's favourite, Left4Dead.

Personally, i've played the game, liked it, but it was boring. So thats all for the game review. There are distinct similarities between the game and life, one of which would be not giving up. Open and L4D game, set the difficulty to expert, and you know you'll be trying more than once to complete the map. Similarly, sometimes life has its setbacks, and its up to the individual, to actually go all out and persevere, and not give up. Otherwise, one would find him/herself stuck at a point in life where you seem to be going nowhere, where life just feels, empty and meaningless.

Eminem said in one of his songs before "You gotta find that inner strength, to just pull that shit out of you, and get that motivation to not give up, and not be a quitter no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse"

And the next 2 points can be classified together, which are "evasion and moving on" These 2 points basically come hand in hand with each other. In the game, you could actually just ignore the zombies around you, which covers the evasion part, and move onto the next part of the map, which covers obviously, the moving on part in life. Or if you're just too bored, you would just shoot every single zombie and wait for the horde to take you down. Why is this related to life? Simple. When one encounters a problem or a setback, he/she will usually be stuck for awhile, not knowing what to do, in more serious cases, it would include emoing, and breaking down. Yet thinking it in a L4D sense, isnt it possible to evade the problems and move on? To simply put it, being emo in my perspective, is a choice. One could choose to hang onto to the past, listen to emo songs when he/she is emo, keep reminding him/herself about the sad things, and just feel so empty and distraught. Or one could actually evade the problem by thinking of it in a different way, a more positive way.

There are always 2 paths to any situation or problem. Nothing is one-sided. No matter how bad the situation is, to give an example, extreme cases such as someone passing away. One could take it negatively such as thinking about the memories they shared, the times they had together, and that the person will no longer be sharing any more time with them in the human world. And these could just go on in their minds forever, or one could look on the brighter and more positive side of things. In this case, it would be that the deceased has already served his/her sentence in this world, and has returned into the arms of God. Its up to the human mind to choose, and even when extreme cases such as this has a positive outcome, i dont see why there aren't for any other situations. It's just the very fact that people refuses to see the fact that happiness is always presenting itself to them. To conclude with today's topic, the mind is stronger than any part of the body. Yet without control, we could actually be using our hearts to think, rather than our minds, thus leading us in the wrong direction. If we have the will to, i'm sure we are all in control of our lives, our happiness. Quote of the day, "Mind over matter"

If there's just one thing we have no control over, its fate.

Are you really not meant for me? Or have i not tried hard enough?

16hours to go.
