This video was played in youth service this morning, and i'm just so amazed by it. I was just shocked. Its something you dont see everyday. And with reference to uncle alvin's sermon this morning, there's just a few things i gotta share. To start with, i'd just like to say that through this video, i realised that there's no "legal age" to how strong your faith is and how much God will just work in you. You could be a new christian like myself, you could've been walking with christ for over a decade now, or you could even be a born christian. But all these factors dont have to determine the amount of faith and the strength you draw from God. What's most important is that you're not shy, you're not afraid to show your faith, and you're not ashamed of being a believer. For those who've ever questioned yourself on your faith because you're a new christian, i guess you can say its something most or maybe all of us go through, but hopefully this video has given you some inspiration to step up and not be afraid to show your faith anymore, but instead proud to be included in the family of believers.
Next, its the emphasis on how God has a purpose for everything that happens in our lives. As quoted from the video, "My Son was special... but He died for a purpose" ; "Just remember when you lose a loved one or a pet...always remember that God gave His son too..." Losing someone, losing something close to the heart, sometimes it just tears you apart, but by this quote, i hope whoever out there who's feeling the emptiness of losing someone right now is able to relate, and is able to just feel more comforted and more at peace. Remember that whatever suffering you go through right now, you should be thankful, for being able to share the suffering that God did.
At the same time, while i was just having a quick bath just now, my thoughts just started speeding as they always would, and i slowly realised and was just amazed at how God has planned every second every minute, every bit of our lives, for a purpose in the future. Have you wondered, what if you did something at a particular second differently? For an example that i would use, simply switching off my computer. Lets say i switch it off a minute later, or even an hour earlier, it would've totally changed the whole future. Maybe if i slept earlier i wouldnt take a nap the next day, or maybe i would've been able to stay up later the following night. And if you think carefully, it all actually makes a difference. And the wonders of it, is that God actually works without you knowing it at all. I remembered 4years back, when i first formed my CS clan, as it would be called now, DreaMz. It all started with wanting to be at the top of the CS community, just playing and being the best. 4 years later, i realised that God actually planned that out for me. Because i know that without DreaMz, there wouldnt be Jan, there wouldnt be Zul, there wouldnt be Jum, there wouldnt be Jiaming, there wouldnt be Joel, and there just wouldnt be the whole lot of friends that i know right now. People that are just so important and close to me, were actually found because i had a dream, 4 years ago, to be the leader of the best clan in CS. And it was actually all planned out by God. Dont you think its just amazing?
Lastly, to close, i strongly urge all of you to just run to God if you have any problems right now. I know a whole lot of you have worries and troubles that have been bothering you for the past few months, and these issues have slowly changed you without you knowing it. Today i just ask that you just give up all your worries and troubles to God, allow Him to carry your burden, trust Him in turning your life around, and just believing that all will be good. To all believers, stop looking around and complain about things that others have that you dont, but instead look at yourself and be proud of what you have. I have God with me, do you?
