We've all been in times of doubt, we have all ad dilemmas. Not knowing what to do, and not knowing how to react. Everyone has problems. But what can one do to reduce the amount of problems one has? As promised in my previous post, the difference between the mind and the heart.

Many people have the misconception that the mind and heart works as one, or some dont even realise, or have it occurred to them how these 2 parts of the body function. To be exact, the heart i'm referring to here, is not the literal heart which pumps blood, but rather, the heart which gives you feelings and emotions. Now why do i say they do not work similar to each other? Simply because of a very distinctive and important difference. The mind tells you what you should and should not do, whereas the heart tells you what you want and do not want to do. Anything hit you yet? Let me state examples. Lets say you are about to cross the road, and the traffic light is red. There is a low volume of traffic, and you are about to jay walk. Right at this point of time, speaking technically, the mind would tell you to wait for the traffic light to turn green, whereas the heart would tell you to jay walk. Understand better now? This however does not prove that your heart always gives you wrong information, but rather gives you the prompting to do things solely based on your feelings.

So which should one follow? I'd say the mind for at least 99% of the human race, given that only 1% of them were brought up the wrong way, or complete retards. From birth we'd been thought right and wrong, what we should do and what we should not, and it all gets registered in our mind. Growing up, things gets more complexed, but we never stop learning from society and how the environment works. Which makes you a human smart enough to tell between right from wrong in almost all situations. The heart on the other hand, prompts you to listen to your emotions, and act according to how you feel. And how many people are actually able to control their own emotions? Thus i do have the right to believe that in most cases, people who listen to only their heart during a dilemma usually end up with a bigger problem that they were in before. Like it has been said, love is blind. You don't love with your mind, you love with your heart. In other words, your heart is equally as blind as love. So the bottom line is, until one is able to remember whether to use the mind or the heart in various situations, dilemmas would always be present. Go for the decision in which both your mind and heart at consensus, or simply go for the one in which your mind tells you to.
