Big Ben lies. We ain't gonna finish 4th place this season. Probably 6th, maybe 7th, even 8th. After watching today's match, i do think that even the players are losing hope themselves. Call liverpool the big 4, i don't think so. The way they play reminds me of clubs like Everton, Fulham etc. They are nothing compared to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd.
I guess the main problem lies with the way benitez plays his players. I mean look at lucas, he doesn't contribute anything other than one of the 5 yellow cards today, and he makes a mess of possession. Why not play the likes of Babel instead? There's still aquilani, riera etc. Why lucas? Damn.
So yeap, Liverpool fans out there, we can very well give up on pool this season. Lets look to the next season alright? Maybe things will change then. Or maybe we will win the Europa League this season just like how pool won the champions league when they didnt manage to finish 4th 4 years ago? Yup, till next week then, keep your fingers crossed and hope that spurs, man city and aston villa loses all their games in hand if not we would very well be 7 points behind man city, 6 behind aston villa and 4 behind spurs. :\
