What are friends?
Dictionary Definition:
A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
Eminem Definition:
Friends are people that you think are your friends, but they really your enemies, with secret indentities and disguises, to hide they true colors. So just when you think you close enough to be brothers, they wanna come back and cut your throat when you ain't lookin.
Zul&Jum's Definition:
Zul: Friends are people you can insult and wont feel bad
Jum: Those aren't friends..those are MEMBERS
My Definition:
Friends are those who stand with you when everything is going right, but leave when things start going in the opposite direction. They seem close to you but truthfully, they really aren't. You are just a part of their lives for their own benefits. On the surface it seems like they are the people closest to you, but deep inside, they just won't accept you for who you are.
I used to think that friends are the people who are always there for you. People who share great times with you, people who share the worst of times with you. People who laughs with you, people who cries with you. And most importantly, people who don't do no back biting.
I guess i was wrong in my thinking, terribly wrong. Those who will really share your tears are your members. Bros who stick it out with you no matter how much you whine to them about things, they are still there for you. They are the ones who truly care when you have a rough time, people who will go the distance just to give you company. People who make sacrifices just to make your day. They are the ones who do things that friends can never do.
Friends are only there to share your joy, people who see you of no worth once your existence stops benefiting them, people who leave once they find another better "friend". And best friends? What are they? They are the ones who are the best at what friends do. They are the ones who will completely vanish one day without a trace. They are the ones who benefits most from your existence. Back biting, that's the way the world is. I'm sick of this.
