Most of them were never raised to be this way. All they wanted was their share of happiness in this world. A sense of belonging. Maybe just feeling wanted was all that they needed to feel. Yet we still look upon them with disgust. Not knowing that who they've become was what we have caused them to be through negligence. Everyone has their own ways of getting what they want. Some turn to whining and complaining, some fight for them, others turn to bad habits. That don't mean they're bad by nature. What isn't ideal in your world doesn't mean it isn't ideal universally. Stop the hating, stop the feuding. Hold a grudge, but don't publicise it. If we all took a moment to understand the plight of the person next to us, maybe then we wouldn't be the vicious humans who only have selfish thoughts of ourselves.
